Maui OnStage…
- Began in 1931 when 2 smaller theater groups here on Maui joined together to become Maui Community Theatre
- Is the oldest community theater on Maui; the 2nd oldest continuously operating community theater in Hawaii
- Has been in residence at the Historic ‘Iao Theater since the fall of 1984
- Has produced produced over 500 productions since 1931
- Has a vibrant youth and education program teaching performing arts skills to over 400 children/adults a year
- Has a dynamic youth theater program that produces 3 full shows a year which are FREE for children to participate in
- Works with teens from local high school drama programs to train them in all aspects of technical theater
