Once On This Island Auditions - Thursday,
May 8th starting at 6pm..

Callbacks are tba but looking like Wednesday, May 14th starting
at 6pm.
All Roles are open, Maui OnStage has a strict no Pre-Casting
Policy.
*Auditions will be broken up into five minute time slots.
* Please be prepared for your audition by bringing a current resume
(if you have one) and headshot (if you
have one) if you are not already on file with us.
*Plus a prepared dramatic or comedic monologue no longer than one
minute. Short stories and jokes are also acceptable.
*Scenes will be available in the business office for the callbacks.
*The script is available for check out to read prior to auditions.
*FOR THIS AUDITION: Please have a standard musical
theater song prepared since an accompanist will be provided, so
bring your complete sheet music plus lyrics (no fake books) so the
accompanist can play along with your song or bring a cd. No
monologue required. The dance call dress code is comfortable
clothes you can move in, no jeans or anything tight. Shoes with
little or no tread or basic jazz shoes.

Maui OnStage is encouraging performers with diverse cultural
backgrounds and all levels of experience to audition for the 2007-2008
season. So whether you are a seasoned veteran or have never performed
on stage before, Maui OnStage welcomes you!
*Brian Swasey is a graduate of University of New Hampshire
with a degree in Musical Theatre and Dance. Theatrical Performing
credits include Harry Houdini in Ragtime
at Maine State Music Theatre, the Off-Broadway production of Naked
Boys Singing (yes, he was really naked), Into
the Woods, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,
Crazy for You, Peter Pan
with Cathy Rigby, A Chorus Line, She
Loves Me, 42nd Street, Tommy,
The Wizard of Oz, and an international
tour of West Side Story. Directing and
Choreography credits include Forever Plaid,
Lucky Stiff, The Man in The
Iron Mask, Godspell, Seussical,
Starmites, Nunsense,
Is There Life After High School?, How
to Succeed..., Once on this Island,
A New Brain, Miracle on 34th
Street, A Chorus Line, Once
Upon a Mattress, Kiss Me Kate
and Peter Pan.
